is an award-winning documentary filmmaker exploring the intersections of identity, culture, and the universal search for belonging. He is currently directing a coming-of-age documentary set in Bosnia, supported by SFFILM, Canada Council for the Arts, and DOC NYC. The Track will debut in 2025.
He produced Handle with Care, a feature nominated for three Canadian Screen Awards, including Best Documentary. The film premiered at Hot Docs 2022, won the Audience Award at VIFF 2021, and screened at Urbanworld and Tallinn Dark Nights festivals. It is now available globally on streaming platforms.
Sidhoo won a Webby Award for his series True North with the National Film Board of Canada and has created content for VICE, Participant Media, NBC-Universal, and others.
