India '15: Peace & Chaos in The Motherland

My Grandparent's country is an obstacle course, a maze, the last level in Sonic The Hedgehog on 16 bit Sega- a grand challenge that pushed me to think outside the box and far beyond. It was real, it smacked me upside the head a few times but I was able to snap a mix of photos of the journey and capture some footage for a project in the basketball crazed community of Nagpada.

Mix of photos from Agra, Varanasi, Lucknow and Goa.

PORTRAITS
Most locals were charged up take have their photo taken, which lead to huge collection of portraits. Here are a few of my favorites.

NAGPADA & HOOPS, MUMBAI
When I wasn't shooting footage, I tried to snap a few production stills at The Rucker Park of India. I was invited into the homes of the local hopefuls and got to spend time with the families off the court. Hands down, the best part of my trip was hanging out here and playing pick up ball in between shooting. Looking forward to my return.
