The Discovery of the Pentax Asahi K1000 35mm

I grew up in a era where I was old enough to spend time at brick and mortar movie stores with my Father but also came up at a time when a MP3 Player morphed into an IPOD in what seemed to be months. I am a child of these two worlds. 

I wanted to find a balance between the digital and the tangible and fell for the Pentax Ashai K1000, a simple and timeless machine. Here are a few photos I took over the years from New York, Vancouver, Los Angeles and a road trip to SXSW.
